Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Science,
Ceramic Engineering, Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering,
Chemistry, or related field
- Ability to address technical and
conceptual aspects of ceramics and materials research and
geological materials
- Prior experience in ceramics research,
especially in developing Waste-Derived porous Silicate c
materials.
- Familiarity with the properties of rice
hull ash and silicates in ceramic and material science
applications.
- Proficient in handling laboratory
equipment and techniques relevant to ceramics and materials
research.
- Demonstrate or has leadership
experience in an organization for future engagement with the
LGU
- Can communicate with stakeholders
during community activities (LGU) and individual student
mentoring.
- Experience in conducting material
characterization, including but not limited to X-ray diffraction,
SEM, and thermal
analysis.
- Work experience on current health and
safety standards in the ceramic laboratory.
- Ability to efficiently organize,
maintain, and manage all needs for the ceramic laboratory.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs laboratory
experiments,
- Makes research reports on a daily
basis,
- Assists in writing research reports,
presentations, and publications,
- Conducts daily maintenance of
laboratory equipment,
- Ensures that all laboratory equipment
is operational,
- Maintains proper storage of tools and
laboratory supplies,
- Assists in the conduct of laboratory
supplies inventory,
- Other tasks pertinent to the
success of the research.
