Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications, Information
Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s Degree is
a plus).
- Strong skills
in C/C++ for embedded firmware.
- Hands-on
experience developing software or embedded systems is an
advantage.
- Hands-on
BareMetal experience with 32-bit ARM-based microcontrollers.
- Hands-on RTOS
experience (FreeRTOS or Zephyr).
- Hands-on
experience with embedded Linux programming.
- Solid
understanding of MCU architectures, memory, and peripherals.
- Familiarity
with machine learning, deep learning, and convolutional neural networks
(CNN).
- Familiarity
with web development platforms such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+) React /
Vue / similar modern frontend framework
- Experience
handling image streams
- Knowledge of
image processing and computer vision is preferred.
- Python for
scripting, testing, and automation experience.
- Experience
porting TinyML or embedded ML frameworks.
- Comfort
working at SDK and hardware-adjacent levels
- Hands-on
experience with source code management and version control
(GIT).
- Hands-on
experience with schematic or PCB designing and development
- Hands-on
experience with firmware testing, CI/CD, or validation
experience
- Ability to
work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent
communication and documentation skills.
- Willing to
enroll for the MS in Computer Applications program of the Computer
Applications Department, College of Computer Studies, 91吃瓜-IIT, in the
1st sem, AY 2026-2027.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work from
Monday-Friday, from 8:00 am-12:00 pm; 1:00 pm-5:00 pm.
- Report
regularly to the project leader and team members regarding the progress of
assigned tasks and projects.
- Prepare and
submit detailed and comprehensive documentation, including step-by-step
procedures, system designs, and development progress.
- Assist the
project lead in preparing quarterly and terminal
reports.
- Build
embedded ML systems from the ground up - no legacy baggage.
- Integrate
hardware and software systems to ensure seamless data acquisition and
processing.
- Perform 3D
modeling and fabrication tasks, including prototype development, to support
hardware designs.
- Develop and
maintain full-stack applications with a focus on data integration and
real-time data visualization.
- Ensure that
all development processes adhere to quality standards, project
requirements, and deadlines.
- Participate
in team meetings, provide updates, and contribute to project discussions
and decision-making processes.
- Stay up to
date with emerging technologies and best practices in embedded systems, 3D
design, and software development.
