91³Ō¹Ļ-IIT’s CCSĀ  welcomes global experts as part of the co-teaching internationalization initiative for AY ā€˜25-ā€˜26

91³Ō¹Ļ-IIT’s College of Computer Studies (CCS) continues to strengthen its internationalization framework for the second semester of Academic Year 2025-2026, announcing a new cohort of international faculty and industry experts joining its co-teaching engagements.

This initiative marks the fifth semester that CCS has implemented its co-teaching internationalization strategy. Through collaborations with distinguished professionals from Europe, Asia, and America, 91³Ō¹Ļ-IIT aims to elevate not just its international engagements but also the quality of instruction and research specifically in the field of computing.

The upcoming semester features ten international collaborators bringing cutting-edge expertise in quantum technologies, generative AI, cybersecurity, IoT, supply chain engineering, and digital transformation. These experts will co-teach alongside CCS faculty members across the BS Computer Applications, BS Computer Science, BS Information Systems, and BS Information Technology programs.

Knowledge coming from across the world to 91³Ō¹Ļ-IIT, these are the faculty members and industry experts who will be co-teaching with CCS faculty members:

Olga Mamlyga is a deep-tech founder working at the intersection of quantum technologies, cybersecurity, and strategic communication. Her expertise lies in translating complex post-quantum communication systems, quantum networks, and emerging cyber threats into clear, practical narratives that support decision-making in organizations. As CEO of Quantum Scouts, she focuses on assessing quantum-related risks, supporting early quantum readiness, and helping organizations understand hybrid and transitional security architectures.

Subject: CSC161 - Computer Systems Security

Soumya Haridas is an Associate Researcher at the National University of Singapore (NUS), working at the intersection of Generative AI and Blockchain. Her work focuses on GenAI-driven analytics, intelligent agents, and decentralized systems applied to healthcare, insurance, and financial services. She brings prior industry experience as a Data Scientist at Kotak Life Insurance and L&T Financial Services. She is passionate about bridging theory with practice and equipping students with hands-on insights into emerging technologies.

Subject: CSC 175 Parallel and Distributed Computing

Dr. Noorminshah A. Iahad is an Associate Professor of Information Systems at the Faculty of Computing, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). She holds a PhD in Informatics and is widely recognized for her expertise in IS adoption, digital transformation, and AI applications. Dr. Noorminshah has served as the President of the Malaysia Association for Information Systems (MyAIS) from February 2022 to February 2026. She actively contributes to national and institutional digital initiatives, with her work centered on advancing digital transformation and cultivating future-ready digital talent.

Subject: BCA198 - Research Methods

Mr. John K. Tay is an experienced Director and Digital Transformation Consultant with a proven track record in the telecommunications, AI, robotics, manufacturing, Agriculture, Smart Cities, transportation, and healthcare. He holds an MBA from Federation University Australia and a B.Sc. from Oklahoma State University.

Subject: BCA144 Introduction of Internet of Things

Dr. Parichart Bootvong is a captivating individual with a wealth of expertise and experience. Holding a Doctor of Juridical Science from La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia, she has served as a Lecturer and Course Coordinator at Khon Kaen University's Faculty of Law. Dr. Bootvong's credentials also include an Attorney at Law License and a prestigious YSEALI Professional Fellowship at the National Association of Attorneys General in Washington, D.C., U.S.A. Her upcoming collaboration with Atty. Eddie Bouy Palad, in teaching ITE184-Social, Legal and Professional Issues in Computing, promises a dynamic and insightful learning experience.

Subject: ISY103 - Professional Issues in Information Systems

Dr. Natakorn Sapermsap is a Lecturer in the Department of Physics at Mahidol University, holding a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland. His research focuses on advanced optical sensing and imaging technologies, with particular expertise in fluorescence lifetime spectroscopy, quantum diamond magnetometry, and deep learning–enhanced biomedical imaging. Dr. Sapermsap has authored 11 peer-reviewed publications, accumulating 151 citations (Scopus, as of 15 February 2026) and an h-index of 6. Recent work includes innovations in carbon-dot-based mercury detection, real-time quantum vector magnetometry, and AI-driven methods for rapid fluorescence lifetime analysis. He continues to contribute to the development of next-generation photonic tools for applications spanning environmental monitoring, biomedicine, and quantum sensing.

Subject: BCA 181- HDL Programming

Rahaditya Dimas Prihadianto (Dimas) is a lecturer and supply chain professional, specializing in supply chain engineering and operations management. His research spans value chain analysis and dynamic pricing in agricultural supply chains, including work published in a Scopus-indexed conference journal. He has held multiple leadership roles in academia, notably serving as one of Indonesia's youngest deans at the age of 30. Before his academic career, he gained industry experience in construction, manufacturing services, and entrepreneurship, collaborating with state-owned enterprises. He holds two international supply chain certifications from ISCEA and is an affiliated mentor at a multinational consultancy firm.

Subject: ISY 112 - Enterprise Systems

Prof. Pere Juarez is an international professor, consultant, and facilitator specializing in innovation, agile learning, creativity, and collaborative methodologies. With more than two decades of experience, he has worked with organizations, universities, and communities to support and guide transformation processes. He has held key roles in corporate innovation, knowledge management, and information systems, and currently collaborates with prestigious academic institutions such as the University of Barcelona, as well as programs connected to IESE and MIT. He is also the creator of the INSPIREO methodology: LEGO® Serious Play® for Learning Agility, focused on developing creative thinking, agile learning, and effective collaboration.

Subject: ISY127 - IS Audit and Controls

Andrii Krutsylo, PhD (Cand.), is in the final year of their PhD in Machine Learning at the Polish Academy of Sciences, with a research focus on Continual (Lifelong) Learning and derivative-free optimization. Their work explores unconventional deep learning models—including extending Hinton's Forward-Forward algorithm to large CNNs and adapting it to transformers—and investigates how autonomous agents make decisions amid uncertainty. They have contributed to projects at FDL Europe, applying foundation models to SAR data in collaboration with the European Space Agency and the Luxembourg Space Agency, and led a TAILOR-funded research visit at the University of Pisa's Pervasive AI Lab. Holding an MSc from Jagiellonian University, they are also passionate about intelligent agents in video games, evolutionary algorithms, and AI applications in space exploration and robotics. Collaborations are welcome in areas such as autonomous systems, virtual research assistants, and AI-driven scientific discovery.

Subject: ITD110 - NoSQL Databases

Romel Romero is a San Diego–based tech founder and philanthropist with deep expertise in mobile and web development, best known as the visionary behind OJT Connect—a platform tackling job mismatch in the Philippines by linking students, alumni, and career shifters with local and global employers. His impactful work has earned him recognition as a 2024 and 2025 Leader of Influence in Technology by the San Diego Business Journal and inclusion in the 2023 Honorary List of Marquis Who's Who of America. Featured in PeopleAsia Magazine and covered by major Philippine media outlets—including CNN Philippines, ABS-CBN, and TV5—he frequently speaks at universities on technology-driven social change. Beyond entrepreneurship, Romel champions education equity by donating devices to rural communities and creating meaningful opportunities for graduates, driven by his belief that Filipino talent deserves global recognition.

Through these co-teaching engagements with international collaborators from top-ranked universities and innovative industry partners across eight countries, 91³Ō¹Ļ-IIT aims to provide students with exposure to global best practices, emerging technologies, and cross-cultural professional networks. The College remains committed to producing globally competitive, socially responsible technology leaders by integrating diverse perspectives directly into the classroom.
